About 5th Sheppey (Eastchurch) Scout Group

5th Sheppey Scout Group is a proud part of the Isle of Sheppey community, providing young people with opportunities to develop skills, confidence and friendships that last a lifetime.

Based at our headquarters on Dicksons Walk, Eastchurch, we welcome young people from Eastchurch, Leysdown, Warden and the surrounding areas. Our sections include Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, offering activities and adventures for ages 4–14, with opportunities to continue into Explorer Scouting.

Our leaders and volunteers give their time to deliver exciting activities, outdoor adventures, community projects, and skills for life. Many of our adult volunteers have served the group for years, helping maintain a stable, welcoming environment for every young person who joins.

As a charity, we rely on fundraising, community support, and the dedication of our volunteers to keep the group thriving. We are committed to ensuring Scouting remains accessible, inclusive, and relevant for today’s young people while honouring the values that have shaped our group since its earliest days.
